Fannie in a bowl one day. Fish in a bowl the next. It's a bowl thing. (Soul Patrollers will note the play on words, as in "it's a soul thing.") Anyway, my friend Georg(iana) and I just goofed off together a lot this past Memorial Day weekend. One day we took in the local Art in the Park art and craft show in Morro Bay. I couldn't go home without this very cool bowl, made by Penny Allen and Jim Williams of Carpinteria, California. I love that it's a visual play on the ubiquitous fish platter. Roxanne, the white with black trim kitty princess, ate her spinach salad last night from the fish bowl.
